Welcome to Cartre - a company that creates kitchen sets in unique fabrics with a Welsh flavour.

Cartre's main designer, Gwenno James is a native of Wales. She now lives in New York where she creates her original textiles from her design studio.

The Cartre kitchen collection draws its’ inspiration from the rich culture and heritage of Wales - its’ folk songs, its’ national flower, the daffodil and the spirit of welcome (called "croeso") which the Welsh display through the sharing of their traditional home made tea.

Each kitchen item is stylishly packaged in a clear envelope with a decorative bilingual card attached making Cartre products ideal gifts for anyone who wants to have a taste of Wales.
